The owl seemed to be the woodsy animal of choice for most other posts, so I decided to follow suit and chose an Inkadinkado owl that had never been inked before. I used the Distressed Branches Cuttlebug folder for the background and as my natural element, I used individual pinecone pieces to create a scalloped border around the owl. I paper tolled the owl to give him some added dimension and colored him a nice shade of Holiday blue with my copics. I stamped the sentiment from AMUSE as the finishing touch!
what a great idea for the pinecones! love the card!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute Randee! That distressed stripe folder made the perfect woodsy background!
