Lisa's Baby Blog Hop

Just when you think you know Love, something little comes along to remind you just how BIG it really is.

Paper Makeup Stamps very own Lisa M. is about to become mommy to another precious little boy. We're all soo excited for her and her growing family that we wanted to do something special. It's a surprise, so maybe the excitement will help stir things up and speed this process along :0)

Congratulations Lisa and family!!!

I created this card for Lisa before I even knew a Blog Hop was planned (I was actually ahead of the game and created it for the baby card MFTW) That is soo unlike me!! Then, when the hop idea was passed around, I didn't really want to post a different card when I knew I would be sending her this one. So, here it is again for anyone who hasn't seen it yet :0)

You can read the details here. Your next stop for some frogs and snails and puppy dog tails fun is Michelle.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Dandy Wishes

Here is a quick card I made to showcase one of the new sets that was released last Wednesday for Paper Makeup Stamps. Dandy Wishes could soon become one of my favorites. So many possibilities - elegant, fun, cute, etc.

When I said quick card I meant it. Literally - 5 minutes from start to finish. I kept it real simple and although it was hard, didn't add any sponging, stitching or even faux stitching!! I popped up the center panel, colored in the hearts with a water color pencil and added one 1/2 pearl in the center of the sentiment. For a little shimmer I did spritz the glimmer mist into the air and then waved the card through it :0).

Don't forget to use your collected hop code for 15% off the new release. And FYI it can be used on PMS's release special to get a whole sheet of rubber (4 glamorous sets in all) for only $30!!

PMS July Sneak Peek

It's that time of the month! Time for another Paper Makeup Stamps release and today we get to show you a little peek at what you can look forward to!

There are a few new critters and an adorable Critters Sayings set to go along with the new and previously released critter cuties. My card today showcases Webster the owl and the new saying created to go along with him . . .

I colored Webster in with Copics and then used a piece of patterned paper from DCWV Flower Shower spring stack. I cut out the cloud from the patterned paper and front of the card and then stamped the sentiment in the "window" so that you can see it from both the outside AND inside :0)

Added a few chipboard letters (hb= happy birthday), sponged the edges with Ranger antique linen distress ink, gave the edges a whirl with my tracing wheel and this card was done.

I was happy to realize that this card also fits in with this weeks MFTW challenge to create a window card!! Hoot Hoot!!

So hop on over to the Paper Makeup Stamps blog to;
1. check out all of the other peeks for today and
2. Link up your card for the MFTW challenge!!

Hope you have a Star Spangled Day!!
