Paper Makeup Stamps January Blog Hop

I made a resolution to simplify this year. In all aspects of life. Too much clutter in my life right now ;0) So, in keeping with that motto, I made a simple card for the hop to showcase one of the two Moody's that are being released this month. This is Moody for France.

I actually like the way it turned out!! The entire card was made using items you can find in this months kit "Mon Cheri". I stamped Moody girl and the sentiment, Je taime, on a patterned piece of paper that came in the kit. I lightly colored Moody girls hat pink to tie in with the other pink writing on the paper. A pink bow and a strip from another piece of paper and that was it! I added some other pieces of patterned paper on the inside and this card was done!!

January Kit - Pretty in Pink

Time for another Paper Makeup Stamps sneak peek! This card uses gorgeous papers and ebellies from this months kit. The papers all have a vintage romantic feel to them and include printed quotes and images like the butterfly one used on my card. I l0ve the stick pins and pearls!! I've seen them used soo many times but have never tied them myself. These kits are a great way to get a little bit of a lot of good things. Things I normally wouldn't purchase on their own!! Included with the kit is a fairy stamp set that includes 4 French sentiments - perfect for that romantic feel.

Starting the New Year with Paper Makeup Stamps

Happy New Year! It was a very busy December. The hustle and bustle definitely caught up with me. I was so in need of a break that after my last day of work on the 23rd of December I did not turn on the computer for the rest of the year!! No email, no facebook, no blogger - nuthin'!! It felt good :0) But I missed being out of the loop.

So now I'm back with a new Paper Makeup Stamps release. This is a sneak peek at the new release fairy - Cosette. The first release of the year is coming up on January 7th! Remember, PMS is now releasing every other month! So in order to get in all the things we'd want for valentine's day! This release has a lot to do with LOVE . The Happy Heart Day sentiment is FREE with any order!!

Crafting of Another Kind - Winedeer

I saw several different versions of these little "Winedeer" cuties while blurfing the other day and thought they would be perfect little gifts for my GNO (Girls Night Out) gals. I decided to give them a try and even used some of the corks I had saved from one of those such nights :0)

For a little extra touch I made tiny tags with my Martha Stewart punch and stamped a cheery little sentiment from the PMS Little Moments set. Wine makes everyone a little merry doesn't it?!

Nutcracker's Friend

Isn't this just too punny!! I got this idea from an online printing company store. It "cracks" me up hahahha!!!

I used the Nutcracker image from Paper Makeup Stamps November release. The squirrel is a Quick cutz die, the acorn is from a PTI set, and the sentiment is an old stamp from SU! - spreading the love I guess. I like when I can combine so many images and stamps to come up with spmething pretty cute!

I was off by one day on the snow forecast. It's supposed to be headed our way tonight. A good reason to say snuggly warm indoors!!

Art is the tree of Life

It's been awhile!! We spent 10 days with family and friends eating, drinking, shopping and having fun together, a much needed break!! Winter seemed to join us over those 10 days too! It's freezing here with an expected 6-10 inches of snow on the way tonight!

I thought I would show a card I made waaay back in the warmer fall weather that I didn't get posted :0) A friend of mine loaned me her Cuttlebug leaf die and embossing folder combo to try out -loved it! I used old book text to create the leaves and then sponged over them to give them their nice fall color. The sentiment is from Paper Makeup Stamps.
