I've used them for YEARS and love them. I love that you can pull the drawers all the way out for better DIGGING. =) I keep my packs of 12x12 on a shelf stacked vertically, like books. I can quickly grab a packet this way. I keep them in the plastic sleeve them come in, and that keeps them together nicely. If I get the packet down to just a few sheets, I move the sheets into the proper drawer. I keep my cardstock divided by color in magazine keepers (from target or staples, etc) I have the keepers tipped on the long side, so the cardstock is laying on a long side, rather than a short side. Have fun organizing! It's such a pain, but so NICE when it's all ready for you to be creative!SweetMissDaisy (Anna Wight)https://www.blogger.com/profile/00807999079788710954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6350480874495994285.post-38360214079229264122009-08-24T14:53:16.748-05:002009-08-24T14:53:16.748-05:00Oh I have a problem with Pattern paper too. Let me know if you figure out a great way!Courtney Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02537652034194772859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6350480874495994285.post-57217869119029568932009-08-23T10:03:00.139-05:002009-08-23T10:03:00.139-05:00Scary! No luck!
I found a rolling 12x12 paper organizer at Target for about $30. Each of the six compartments/drawers comes out and has a lid that snaps shut. I put all my Xmas stuff in one, SU! papers in another, stuff I've purchased to make a scrapbook someday {wink}, chipboard and letters in another, etc. You might give that a try. We don't have an Ikea here, and I've never been to one, so I have no suggestions for you there! They are made for the 12x12 paper and they have 3 drawers per organizer. I have mine sorted all different ways. I have most of my 12x12 organized by brand ... with several different brands in a drawer. I also have several misc. drawers for the older paper that I have but can't part with. I have a long two drawer filing cabinet that I have my smaller paper in. They are organized by color/brand. Like all my SU in colors are together with a folder per color. I also store my scraps with the rest of the same paper. I have done this several different ways but keeping it together (scraps and full sheets) works best for me. Hope some of that helps! Good luck! Can't wait to see the after pics!Kelley Eubankshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12232505436980003747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6350480874495994285.post-75809072073629287372009-08-21T20:50:56.944-05:002009-08-21T20:50:56.944-05:00:>) I wish I could help LOL!! I need to send my sister to your place...she needs everything just so in her stamping area, so she has helped me organize a couple times (yes, more than once I have needed her help)!
I relocated to our partially finished basement when our family expanded, but I was lugging everything to other spots in the house so it became a big pain. I recently rearranged my bedroom and discovered that a new layout gave me space to put a desk. I have not yet completely taken over the bedroom and my husband is not complaining yet :>) I tend to use the bed to lay everything out though, so I just need to make sure I do not leave anything behind LOL!scrapsnsuch@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14699792420536626010noreply@blogger.com
