Happy Birthday Blog Hop

HaPPy Birthday to You,
A surprise blog hop -who knew!!
We love ya, dear Katie,
May all your wishes come TRUE!!

If you came here from Maria's blog then you are in the right place. One more stop on PMS owner, Katie Cottons, birthday blog hop :0) Start from the beginning over at the PMS Blog to see all the birthday wishes all the way through. And when you're done, hop on over to Katie's blog and leave her some birthday wishes too!

A litttle about the card, it uses PMS's new floral Faith Hope Love silhouette set that was released this month. I first sponged the blue, then stamped the flowers and grass in black, then highlighted it with a white gel pen and finally, went over it with a Spica glitter pen. It really glitters IRL, but the camera wouldn't pick it up.

Today is my sister's 21st birthday too! So, happy birthday to you too Christi - Love ya!

I hope both of these amazing women have a truly splendiferous day!!

So now - on to your final stop on the Birthday Hop - Shaela!!

MFTW - Baby Card

I finally got a chance to make a card and play along with last Friday's Makeup for the Weekend challenge over at the Paper Makeup Stamps blog. The challenge was to create a baby card - nice and simple :0)

This was the perfect opportunity to try out the Sizzix's Baby Onesie die that I borrowed from a friend a long, long, LONG time ago - sorry Sandy :0( Isn't it just adorable?!?!? It's a pretty long die, but with some fanagelling (sp?) I got it to work in my Cuttlebug.

I used the small sailboat image from the Paper Makeup Stamps Sailing By set. The sentiment is from Paper Makeup Stamps too! I paper pieced both sails of the ship and the waves. I added a couple of button wheels for a cute pull-toy look.

The challenge continues until Thursday, then a new one will be posted on Friday, so play along! Just link up your card to the PMS blog for all to see :0)

Hope your first couple of days of summer are going swell. Here, it's swell -tering! Hot, humid, sticky and one of the only times I actually don't mind stamping in the cold damp basement!!

Happy hump day :0)

Freckled Lemonade

It's been a busy week at Paper Makeup Stamps!! We had sneak peeks last weekend leading up to our Monday June release and party. Today we're reviewing Freckled Lemonade - an awesome set designed by PMS's own Shaela.

I used the fruit bunch stamp along with a coordinating sentiment from the Sweet Things stamp set. This card also fits with our Friday Makeup for the Weekend Challenge (MFTW) to create a card or layout "all about food".

Get your goodies out and get stamping and play along! Link up your card on the PMS Blog. Remember to use your coupon code collected during the Blog hop to earn 15% off your new release order.

Paper Makeup Stamps June Release Blog Hop

Blogger is back, blogger is back!!!!

I've been trying to get this posted for about 24hours now and was VERY frustrated. Hopefully you all can now enjoy a flawless and seamless hop :0)

And what a hop it is!! Awesome release this month - yet again!! I get to show you the Moody Girl of the Month - Moody for Dreams . . .

I was told that this stamp was designed for someone who won the "Design your own stamp" contest. SO kudos to you for a great idea! I added paint to her face with a white gel pen to give her more of a Native American feel. The dreamcatcher was made using my circle Nestabilities and my SU! lace die. The sentiment was from last month's PMS release.

Like what you see? Keep hopping for more awesome release peeks and stop by the PMS Release party tonoight in the FORUM.

And don't forget to collect your letters for your 15% off coupon code. My letter for you is:

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Your next stop on the hop is Shaela . . .give her some love!

Hope your day is dreamy :0)

Happy Sunday Everyone -

Paper Makeup Stamps has a FABULOUS release this month including new stamps from a new illustrator. Today we get to show you fabulous set called Tweet Things by Lindsay Spencer. I love that she has included both whimsical cutsey stamps and beautiful more realistic stamps like this hummingbird!!

The sentiments coordinate "so tweetly" as well! For this card I used one of the upcoming challenges for the new release - use a flower embellishment on your card. No stamped flowers and no flower paper allowed.

You can see all of the other images and sentiments in this set by heading over to the Paper Makeup Stamps Blog. Make sure to stop back tomorrow for the release blog hop as well as join us in the PMS Forum tomorrow night for the release party. Lots of fun, games, prizes and PMS chatter!

Enjoy your Sunday - hopes it's So Tweet!!
